Green Gold pH 7.0 Calibration Solution

PH measuring equipment must be cleaned and calibrated regularly, to ensure they are giving the user accurate readings. pH instruments are calibrated to pH 7.0 first (buffer) then to pH 4.0 (slope). Calibration Solutions should be stored in a cool place out of direct sun and heat. They should be stored with the lids securely tightened.

Grower’s Tip:

We recommend that you calibrate your pH meter regularly. The ideal pH range for most hydroponic crops is between 5.5 and 6.5.

When getting started, it’s a good idea to measure the pH of your water everyday, until you get a feel for it. Measure your water and then add the nutrients. Within an hour check the pH and adjust accordingly. Repeat this process until pH stabilizes. After several runs you can generally get a feel for how much to use.
